At VIAWAT, our employees are our most valuable asset and we will always do our best to create a comfortable and pleasant work environment for everyone. Happy employees are more loyal, more engaged with the company and more productive.

To keep our staff satisfied, we organize different activities for each department separately or activities that everyone at the company can participate in. Two weeks ago we sent our International Sales Team to Thailand for some well-deserved relaxation. And last weekend we organized a hiking competition that took place along the beautiful sea coast of Shenzhen.

Teams were formed and the task was to reach certain landmarks while walking 10 kilometers along the coast. After reaching the landmarks, the teams had to take pictures and upload them to our WeChat group chat (Chinese messaging app), where the progress of each team could be followed live. It was a lot of fun for everyone involved. The view was fantastic and the sun was shining all day!

The team who reached the last landmark first, won the big cash prize, but the biggest win of the day was being part of a great team-building exercise and getting the chance to bond with our fellow employees from different departments.

The summer is back and we are looking forward to spending more time outdoors with the great VIAWAT team!
